This image has been on my mind a lot lately. Every big project reaches that point where you’re so close. I’ve felt like the man walking away—tired, defeated, wondering if the digging will ever pay off. For a long time, it felt like all I did was dig without ever hitting the jackpot.
But this year has been different. I’ve been digging steadily toward my goals, uncovering small treasures along the way that reassure me I’m in the right place. I haven’t hit the full payload yet—and I’m okay with that.
I can feel the progress. When I speak my affirmations about money and abundance, I can say them with confidence—without the “yeah, but…” that used to sneak in.
At the same time, I know I’m still building. The systems, the processes, the structure—this foundation is what will allow me to welcome more opportunities without burning out or falling short of what my clients deserve. I trust it’s coming. So I remind myself: keep digging.
It’s the same message I often share with business owners considering a VA. They ask, “How do I know I’m ready?” The truth is, readiness comes from laying the groundwork—building the foundation, creating clarity, and making space. That’s what makes handing things off easier. When you do that work, you open the door for the right support (and the right people) to step in.
Having the idea is just the beginning. Doing the work—that’s what clears the path to the diamond. Don’t give up.
Keep digging.
